Corrugated stainless steel plates are permanently joined through a controlled fusion-bonding process. The bonded contact areas create sealed alternating channels without conventional copper brazing material.
Construction
Fusion-bonded all-stainless plate pack
Primary distinction
No copper brazing filler
Temperature capability
Up to 400°C on selected configurations
Cleaning
Compatible chemical circulation / CIP
Engineering explained
See what is happening inside the exchanger.
Product imagery is paired with technical context so buyers and engineers can understand construction, flow path and configuration—not just the exterior.
01
The same proven alternating-channel flow path
Fusion-bonded construction uses the same counter-current channel arrangement as a standard compact plate heat exchanger; hot and cold media remain separated by corrugated stainless plates.
02
All-stainless bonded contact structure
The copper-colored brazing layers are replaced visually by stainless-steel bonded contact surfaces, while the plate geometry, ports and compact construction remain unchanged.

Frequently asked questions
Key questions before product selection.
How does Stainless Steel Fusion-Bonded Heat Exchangers work?
Corrugated stainless steel plates are permanently joined through a controlled fusion-bonding process. The bonded contact areas create sealed alternating channels without conventional copper brazing material.
What information is required to select the right product?
Provide complete fluid composition, concentration, temperatures, flow rates, design pressure, allowable pressure drop and hygiene or contamination requirements.
Which materials and configurations are available?
All-stainless heat-transfer plate pack; Stainless steel cover plates and connections; Copper-free bonded construction
How is the final product size confirmed?
The final size is confirmed by thermal calculation using flow rates, inlet and outlet temperatures, allowable pressure drop, design pressure and fluid properties.
