Two Side-Arm heat-transfer constructions
The copper version uses multiple internal tubes, while the stainless version uses an extended fin surface. Materials and connection method are selected separately from the heat-transfer arrangement.

Natural-convection water heating and heat recovery
In a storage-tank installation, heated water rises through natural convection while cooler tank water returns to the lower connection. The same vertical fin-tube concept can preheat cold water using shower wastewater heat.
